ANGELA MOORE, President
“Helping others grow their businesses through storytelling is a dream come true. I create success by being positive, connected and going all in. I love my job!”
Angela Moore’s positive approach to her work at Starfish P.R. is evident and infectious. Her enthusiasm for her clients and team spills over into everything she does. A self-described “marketing geek”, Moore has a combination of strengths that allow her to seamlessly brainstorm creative ideas and then put those ideas into action. Moore also prides herself on being able to build relationships with all types of influencers, which is a testament to her professionalism and character.
Having started her career in the music industry at a young age, Moore has held a variety of positions with trade publications, recording companies, artist management and concert promotion. Moore has worked with artists such as Madonna, Babyface, Prince, Live, Sublime and Alanis Morrisette, as well as corporate sponsors such as Heineken, PlayStation, Microsoft and Serious Satellite Radio.
Plugged-in and open-minded, Moore welcomed the digital music age while at House of Blues Digital. During her tenure with the company, she was a member of an innovative team that began broadcasting live concerts online in 1999, which later led to a position spearheading strategic marketing across the entire HOB platform. Embracing concepts ahead of their time is a practice Moore has carried with her to Starfish P.R. Many of her clients began blogging in 2007 and Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles was one of the first Habitat for Humanity affiliates in the world to join Twitter. Clients love that Moore is able to
provide them with valuable industry foresight, as well as the tools and knowledge they need to become engaged brand advocates.
Moore is passionate about the clients she serves and using her love of public relations to tell their stories. When not storytelling, however, she can be found dreaming about her next trip to Jazz Fest, or during football season, rooting for the Denver Broncos.
