Los Angeles, CA - October 19, 2009: Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles (HFH GLA) has been entered into America's Giving Challenge. This challenge is really about how many people HFH GLA can get to make donations and less about the size of those donations. Between now and November 7th HFH GLA supporters and those interested in uniting against sub-standard housing are encouraged to visit http://www.causes.com/donations/select_donation_method?cause_id=243729 and make a donation up to once per day. Also, help promote HFH GLA by sharing the link with your friends, family and co-workers on Facebook, Twitter and in emails. Just imagine - if everyone can make a donation and get a friend, or family member, to make a donation, HFH GLA could be well on their way to partnering with more hardworking families to make the dream of homeownership a reality.
