NEW YEARS EVE PRAISE PARTY HELPS HABITAT FOR HUMANITY BUILD A GREATER LOS ANGELES IN 2010

Los Angeles, CA – December, 29 2009: Faithful Central Bible Church (FCBC) is hosting Praise Party 2009 on New Years Eve at the Forum to benefit Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles’ (HFH GLA) “A Brush With Kindness” (ABWK) program. The event includes an evening of live musical performances, worship and praise starting at 7:30 p.m. Award Winning Artist Donivan David will host the event that includes performances by the Faithful Central Bible Church Choir, Recording Artist Kelly Price, Donald Lawrence and a sermon by Bishop Kenneth C. Ulmer. FCBC has pledged $100,000 to HFH GLA to sponsor 10 ABWK homes in the Inglewood and Greater Los Angeles area in or around FCBC. Nissan Corp. is the events Title Sponsor and and My Block Inc. is also an event sponsor.
“A Brush With Kindness” is a free program that provides local homeowners in need with exterior, minor and safety-related repairs to their homes. An all-volunteer workforce makes repairs in partnership with qualified homeowners to restore their homes so that they can continue to live safely and decently, all while preserving the housing stock in the Greater Los Angeles area.
Tickets are available for $10 and $20 at Ticketmaster, Word of Life Christian Bookstore locations, FCBC bookstores and the Forum Box Office. Parking for the event is free. Join HFH GLA and FCBC for an evening that will raise spirits and walls as Angelenos come together to build a greater Los Angeles in 2010.
