“As we enter our fourth year of the Full Circle Program with Knoll, we’re very pleased with the results so far,” says Rose Tourje, founder of ANEW. “It speaks well of the program that Knoll has elected to sign on for two more years; it’s our privilege to work with Knoll and their dealer network.”
“While every organization keeps an eye on its financial bottom line, more and more are looking at their environmental bottom line as well,” says David Schutte, Senior Vice President, Chief Marketing Officer, Knoll Inc. “Through our partnership with ANEW, Knoll’s Full Circle has helped more than two dozen clients answer the often-daunting question of what to do with obsolete furnishings. And the results are meaningful. So far, our partnership has helped clients divert 580 tons of waste from landfill and demonstrated both the economic and environmental benefits that the Full Circle program provides. It’s great to work with Anew and clients to make a difference!”
ANEW was founded by Rose Tourje, a veteran commercial interior designer who shifted her career focus to “doing what’s right with what’s left” after realizing that great improvements were needed in the field of surplus liquidation. The organization coordinates the removal of surplus furniture and matches it to deserving organizations and provides project metrics reporting. To date, ANEW has diverted over 9.2 million pounds of materials from landfill; instead using it to serve over 500 organizations in 13 countries.
