Los Angeles, CA – April 11, 2013: On Saturday, April 6, 2013, Habitat for Humanity of Greater Los Angeles (HFH GLA) hosted the 2nd Annual Palos Verdes Ride for Habitat at the Terranea Resort. The event offered three courses around the beautiful Palos Verdes Peninsula including an expert 50-mile ride, an intermediate 34-mile ride and an amateur 17-mile ride. Nearly 200 cyclists participated, helping to raise more than $90,000 and still counting, which will help HFH GLA build more decent, sustainable and affordable housing.
The PV Ride for Habitat began last year when HFH GLA board member and Palos Verdes resident, Arnold Ng, had a vision to bring together his passion for Habitat for Humanity and cycling. .
