So Vintage™ Honored by Interior Design Magazine as Finalist in 2012 Best of Year Competition

Winners to be Announced November 29th in New York

[City of Industry, CA – November 12, 2012] Bentley Prince Street is thrilled to announce that Interior Design Magazine has honored So Vintage as a finalist for the Best of Year competition, in the broadloom category. The Best of Year Product Design finalists are selected by interior designers and architects via an online vote and the winners are chosen by editor in chief Cindy Allen and a jury of design leaders.  Winners will be announced live November 29th during a celebration in New York City and featured in the December issue of Interior Design.  Bentley Prince Street won Best Broadloom Carpet of the Year in 2010 for Domestic Alchemy™.

“I cannot imagine a more fitting way to cap off this monumental year than to be recognized in this way,” says Anthony Minite, president and CEO. “So Vintage epitomizes this company’s commitment, resilience and excellence when it comes to design and each and every one of our associates are extremely proud to receive this prestigious honor.”

So Vintage offers whimsical contrasts and charming textures that will make a statement in corporate, hospitality and retail installations. The product is inspired by vintage fabrics of the silver screen era, but is truly modern in terms of its color line and organic, medium-scale patterning. So Vintage also emphasizes usability and coordinates easily with other Bentley Prince Street products including the best-selling Kings Road™, popular Edge City™ and the newly launched Iconic Intensity™. So Vintage also won the Best of NeoCon Gold Award at NeoCon 2011 and a 2011 Doc Product Award.

“I am never more proud of what we do than when we get nominated for this award,” says Valerie Ottaviano, vice president of product design.  “This year more than ever it shows that attention to detail and craft pay off in our reinvention of classic style.”
