PARALLELTEK Joins Santa Fe Springs Chamber of Commerce & Supports 49th Annual Golf Classic as Bronze Sponsor

Santa Fe Springs, CA – April 15, 2014:  PARALLELTEK, a provider of communications technology solutions, is pleased to announce it has joined the Santa Fe Springs Chamber of Commerce.  In the company’s first show of support, it signed on as a Bronze sponsor for the Chamber’s premiere community event, the 49th Annual Chamber Golf Classic, held Monday, April 14, 2014.   Team PARALLELTEK, led by President Anthony Minite, also participated in the event and was thrilled to take home the first place trophy.

ANEW “Landfill to Libraries” Initiative Provides Repurposed Furniture and New Carpeting for a Sixth Library Being Built in Chihuahua, Mexico

Donated Items will be Loaded into a 53-Foot Tractor Trailer at the ANEW Warehouse on Monday, Dec. 16th

La Puente, CA – December 11, 2013: Asset Network for Education Worldwide, Inc. (ANEW) is preparing to send several tons of much-needed materials to help complete a new library in Mexico, in collaboration with USGBC-LA and WIJABA through the Landfill to Libraries project.  On Monday, December 16th, 2013, a 53’ tractor trailer at the ANEW warehouse in La Puente will be loaded with repurposed furniture, desks, tables, bookcases, and new carpeting for library #6 in the state of Chihuahua, Mexico.

ANEW Founder Rose Tourje developed the Landfill to Libraries initiative in collaboration with Dr. Jorge Partida of United States Green Building Council Los Angeles (USGBC-LA); James Owens of The World is Just a Book Away (WIJABA); and Bruce Berton, ANEW Senior Advisor.
