In the company’s first show of support, it signed on as a Bronze sponsor for the Chamber’s premiere community event, the 49th Annual Chamber Golf Classic, held Monday, April 14, 2014. Team PARALLELTEK, led by President Anthony Minite, also participated in the event and was thrilled to take home the first place trophy.

La Puente, CA – December 11, 2013: Asset Network for Education Worldwide, Inc. (ANEW) is preparing to send several tons of much-needed materials to help complete a new library in Mexico, in collaboration with USGBC-LA and WIJABA through the Landfill to Libraries project. On Monday, December 16th, 2013, a 53’ tractor trailer at the ANEW warehouse in La Puente will be loaded with repurposed furniture, desks, tables, bookcases, and new carpeting for library #6 in the state of Chihuahua, Mexico.
ANEW Founder Rose Tourje developed the Landfill to Libraries initiative in collaboration with Dr. Jorge Partida of United States Green Building Council Los Angeles (USGBC-LA); James Owens of The World is Just a Book Away (WIJABA); and Bruce Berton, ANEW Senior Advisor.
